Time of Call: 1120, Tiome of Launch: VG crew met at VGYH
A call came into the base to listen to Channel 16 for distress call. VISAR personel contacted the vessel with a 49 year old female aboard who had suffered a fit. Though no prior history she had suffered a fit 6 months before. For this reason an medical examination was required. The vessel was heading to Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour and stated a 15 minute ETA. Due to poor comms and the charterers being unfamiliar with the area, the information was inacurate. VISAR crew waited for the vessel but would have prefered to go alongside. The vessel was asked to call '767' for clearer comms. The casualty was taken for observation to the VG Health Clinic.
