Call from a resort island to report 70 year old female ferry passenger had fallen and it appeared that she had broken her leg. The coordinator paged the crew and the resort manager was advised to turn the ferry around and start the journey back to Tortola. Due to rough waters the VISAR crew met the Ferry part way across the channel to assess the situation and decided to keep her aboard the ferry. VISAR Coordinator and ambulance met the casualty at the Road Town Ferry Dock and she was then transported to Peebles for treatment.
